Interior carpentry ◆ Built on site
White oak treads over painted risers, square oak newels, and two balusters to every tread — the two flights we have photographed. Build the stair below and tell us the combination when you call.
What goes into one
Taken off the two flights finished on the Hudson job. Every one of these is a separate decision, and every one of them is in the model below.
White risers against a natural oak tread — that contrast is what makes a flight read as a flight from across a room, and it is what both of these were built with.
Two balusters to every tread on both flights. Iron reads modern and keeps the sightline open; square oak matches the newels and suits an older house.
Configurator ◆ Every part
Change any part and the whole flight updates. Drag it to turn all the way round — the back of a stair is where the stringer and the balusters actually show.
This model needs WebGL, and this browser has it switched off. The material choices below still apply.

These are options to settle, not a stock list. The two flights we have photographed are the ones in the spec above — white oak treads, white risers, square oak newels, with iron or oak balusters. The rest is here so you can see a combination before you raise it on the call. Screens shift color too, and stain looks different on every board that comes off the truck, so treat this as a way to settle the combination rather than as a color match; we bring samples to the estimate.
